Once again time slips away
This will be quick, since I'm writing directly in blogspirit and not doing the cut & paste thing. If I don't get this done quickly they drop everything I write.
I have been doing some knitting. I'm getting ready to turn a heel. Come to think of it. That's about all the knitting I've been doing. Bummer.
Thanks to Daughter #1 I have found a new addition. Nintendo DS. Brain Age 2. I've discovered that my brain is close to becoming a vegetable.
Tom & I are getting the house ready for the upcoming visit of Grandchildren. Amanda is coming and RHINEBECK IS THIS WEEKEND!!!!! YEAH! Even though they are predicting rain I foresee a great weekend ahead!

You Look Like a Monkey
And you smell like one too!
This is the version my Tommy is know for. He started this with his brother over 40 years ago. His most recent victims? Our Grandchildren. Allysa, age 3, proved in public that she was not a monkey because she didn’t have a tail. I don’t know if Amanda will ever go back to that restaurant again, but we all thought it was funny.
So today is Monkey Boy's Birthday. Happy Birthday my Love. I am so blessed to have you as my mate. (Even though you can be a bit trying at times.) I wouldn’t trade you in for anything. Not even fiber! Now that’s saying something. You are unique, one of a kind (good thing). So enjoy your Apricot Nectar Cake. I love you.
